The Senior Applied Scientist role in the Core AI Speech Group focuses on innovating state-of-the-art speech modeling technologies that impact millions of users. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years related experience OR Master's Degree in the same fields AND 3+ years related experience OR Doctorate in the same fields AND 1+ year(s) related experience OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop novel speech algorithms to advance state-of-the-art speech technologies for real world user scenarios.
- Address scalability problems by adjusting to stakeholder needs.
- Work with large-scale computing frameworks, data analysis systems, and modeling environments to improve models.
- Apply the model to real products and verify effects through iterations.
- Experiment by putting multiple models in production and evaluating their performance.
