Job description

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to join their team in Nashville, TN, focusing on delivering bridge projects and enhancing transportation infrastructure. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
  • 10+ years of bridge design experience
  • Experience working with state DOT standards, preferably TDOT
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Tennessee or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver bridge and structural projects, providing technical direction and overseeing compliance with DOT and AASHTO LRFD standards.
  • Utilize advanced tools for bridge design and analysis to develop high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with accountability for technical delivery, schedule, budget, and risk.
  • Mentor multidisciplinary teams and foster a collaborative project environment.
  • Perform and oversee bridge inspections and load ratings, delivering accurate reports and recommendations.
  • Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions and communicate complex technical concepts.
  • Support business development initiatives, including proposals and client engagement.
