Job description

Apple is looking for a Display Module Optical Engineer to work on next-generation display technologies. This role involves exploring optics and developing integration processes for advanced optical components. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in optical design and characterization, optical modeling, and display technologies.
  • Experience leading engineering builds and managing module deliverables across development phases.
  • Experience with optical measurement systems for characterization and validation.
  • Proficiency in data acquisition and analysis tools such as Python and LabVIEW.

Responsibilities

  • Develop module-level integration processes for advanced optical components.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and suppliers to optimize system performance.
  • Contribute to system-level modeling to support design decisions and validation.
  • Drive the implementation of emerging technology platforms into final products.
  • Validate system behavior through engineering builds and design of experiments.
