Job description

This role is part of Apple's Camera Calibration and Test team, which ensures the quality of camera systems across various Apple products. The position focuses on managing vendors and projects related to camera technology, including overseeing test maturity preparation and setting priorities for Module Integrators. The ideal candidate will engage with a range of technical areas, from CMOS image sensor testing to lens quality analysis. This role offers an opportunity to make a significant impact on the quality of cameras in Apple products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Color Science, Imaging Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in at least one domain such as CMOS Image Sensor Test, lens quality analysis, or data analysis.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Second-language skills in Korean, Japanese, or Mandarin Chinese are a notable asset.
  • Proficiency in managing a team of vendor members and hosting cross-time zone meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Manage vendors and projects related to camera calibration and testing.
  • Oversee all aspects of test maturity preparation and set priorities for Module Integrators.
  • Participate proactively in post-build FACA activities.
  • Work with Module Integrators to implement improvements in testing efficiency.
  • Break down complex assignments into manageable tasks.
