The role is for a senior engineer in NVIDIA's Design-for-X Engineering team, focusing on innovative solutions in AI for chip design and manufacturing testing. The team works on complex semiconductor chips, specifically in the areas of power, thermal, and voltage noise methodology. The engineer will collaborate with multi-functional teams to improve chip quality and develop new methodologies using applied machine learning and generative AI. Mentoring junior engineers on test designs and trade-offs is also a key aspect of this position.

• BSEE with 12+ years, MSEE with 10+ years, or PhD with 6+ years of experience in DFT design and power.
• Understanding of fundamental DFT topics and VLSI areas of power, timing, and voltage noise.
• Experience in power analysis, thermal analysis, and IR drop tools is a plus.
• Experience in the application of AI for EDA-related problem-solving is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge in using statistical tools for data analysis and insights.
• Good exposure to multi-functional areas including RTL and clocks design, STA, place-n-route, and power.
• Experience in silicon debug and bring-up on the ATE or SLT platforms.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

• Work on innovating in the DFX Power, Thermal, and Voltage Noise Methodology areas.
• Develop low power and thermal solutions for manufacturing tests for datacenter GPUs.
• Collaborate with Product Development and Power Architecture teams to implement new methodologies.
• Conduct post-silicon data analysis for power to architect next-generation solutions.
• Develop and deploy DFT methodologies for next-generation products using applied ML and generative AI solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers on test designs and trade-offs including cost and quality.
