Job description

The Product Development Engineer (PDE) position in the Parametric Test area at Intel Foundry focuses on supporting electric test programs for discrete devices. This role involves characterizing MOS, ROS, and key interconnects to develop technology performance metrics. The PDE will collaborate with Device and Quality engineers to define test content and validate designs. Additionally, the position requires working with operations and module engineers to define high volume systems and meet capacity constraints.

Requirements

  • PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field with 6+ months of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience in designing or measuring electrical circuits or devices.
  • Experience with instrument design and device physics.
  • Familiarity with automating electrical data collection and semiconductor parametric analyzers.

Responsibilities

  • Define test content and validate designs in collaboration with Device and Quality engineers.
  • Develop actual test programs and validate results on silicon.
  • Improve existing testing methods and systems to support new designs.
  • Work with operations and module engineers to define high volume systems.
