As a QA engineer, you will work on qualifying tvOS across multiple devices and ensure its interoperability within the Apple ecosystem. The role involves defining test approaches, executing tests, and coordinating testing efforts for complex features. You will be part of a small, dynamic team dedicated to maintaining high performance and security standards.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of SQA methodologies and practices.
  • Proven bug detection and regression skills.

  • Experience testing cloud-based client/server technologies.
  • Experience with automation test tools and techniques such as Perl, PHP, Bash, and Python.
  • Possess an understanding of XCTest.

Responsibilities

  • Rapidly grow current test cases and execute required tests.
  • Own complete functional areas and help define qualification strategies.
  • Execute functionality, compatibility, integration, and reliability testing for large portions of the tvOS platform.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams to coordinate testing efforts for complex client and server feature sets.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
