Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
- Experience as a mentor or tech lead in an engineering team
- Knowledge of database internals, query planning, and optimization
- 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver new algorithms and features for Neptune's high availability and performance.
- Participate in project execution to develop database service capabilities.
- Create metrics and implement automation to improve software architecture.
- Resolve the root cause of software defects.
- Build high-impact solutions for a large customer base.
- Participate in design discussions and code reviews.
- Work cross-functionally to influence business decisions with technical input.
