The Software Engineer for TV Systems at Google will work on developing and integrating software for next-generation TV devices. • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in the C++ or Java programming languages.
• 2 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.
• 2 years of experience working with the Android operating system.

• Advocate end-to-end system software development and integration for OEM retail partner launches.
• Lead the technical bring-up of next-generation prototype hardware systems, working with unreleased TV devices.
• Innovate, design, implement, and test new software features for TV embedded systems and related products.
• Partner with SoC vendors and hardware providers to implement enhancements that optimize device throughput and resource utilization.
• Help develop standardized certification tests and comprehensive documentation to maintain performance quality.
