Job description

The Software Development Engineer will be part of the innovative Fuse tech team, working on Amazon Fuse, a wholesale subscription service. This role involves solving complex business challenges through technology and requires a passion for learning and creating exceptional customer experiences. Requirements

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience
  • 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications
  • 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience

Responsibilities

  • Work with a team of engineers to build low-latency solutions for frontend, middle tier, and backend systems
  • Identify and evaluate new technology options for solving challenges
  • Clarify requirements and build prototypes independently
  • Deliver results quickly while dealing with ambiguity
  • Create reliable and maintainable code
  • Contribute to all aspects of development including scoping, design, implementation, and testing
