The role is for a software development engineer on the Conversational Ad Experiences team within Amazon's Sponsored Products and Brands. This team focuses on creating innovative sponsored conversational shopping experiences using large language models. The position involves working on challenging projects that have a significant impact on both shoppers and the business. The team is dedicated to revolutionizing advertising through generative AI technologies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience with design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Drive major product and engineering initiatives and build large-scale, low-latency distributed systems.
- Design, build, and operate key pieces of customer-facing functionality impacting hundreds of millions of Amazon shoppers worldwide.
- Partner with scientists to build and/or integrate sponsored prompts experiences for customers.
- Tackle challenging, novel situations every day while collaborating with multiple technical teams at Amazon.
