Job description
As a Software Development Engineer for Amazon Simple Email Service (SES), you will contribute to the development and improvement of email services, focusing on building reliable and scalable solutions. You will collaborate with other engineers to solve complex technical challenges and ensure high availability of services for a global customer base. This role also involves translating strategic business needs into features and projects while fostering a culture of creativity and openness within the team. You will have the opportunity to mentor colleagues and participate in strategic planning.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Experience with Machine Learning and Large Language Model fundamentals
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle
- Experience designing, building, operating, and managing large-scale distributed systems
- Experience building and operating online services and fault-tolerant distributed systems
