Job description

The Electrical Engineering Professional Associate role at Jacobs focuses on developing and designing electrical systems for various facilities. Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • 7 years of work experience in the job offered or a related Electrical Engineering occupation.
  • Expertise in NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 70E, and NFPA 820.
  • Proficiency in SKM PTW for modeling electrical systems and AGI32 for lighting model calculations.
  • Experience with Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, Revit, and Revizto.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design one-line, panelboard, and electrical plan drawings.
  • Create lightning design and calculations for each facility.
  • Model electrical distribution using SKM software.
  • Coordinate electrical needs with other disciplines including Process Mechanical, Building Mechanical, and Instrumentation and controls.
  • Oversee supporting engineers on each project and provide electrical specifications.
