The IS&T Retail Engineering organization at Apple is seeking a project management expert to lead large and complex initiatives that shape software and hardware solutions. Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in engineering project management
- Experience in software development life cycle methodologies
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Proven ability to drive multi-year, multi-team programs that require both customer and technical focus
- Experience leading customer-facing software initiatives, balancing business objectives, customer impact, and engineering constraints
- Experience with enterprise-scale software development lifecycles, including launch strategies, compliance, and operational scaling
- Experience successfully completing and delivering projects using an Agile methodology
- Experience managing cross-org dependencies across multiple engineering, product, and business teams
- Proficiency in setting up governance models, decision-making frameworks, and program health metrics
- Strong understanding of engineering workflows and architectural trade-offs, including highly available, distributed, and scalable enterprise systems
- Familiarity with scalable architectures, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and software development best practices
- PMP or Scrum Master certification preferred
