Job description
The role is for a Full Stack Software Development Engineer within a team focused on creating technical solutions for Amazon's central corporate Finance team. The team utilizes Big Data, Machine Learning, AWS technologies, and Microservices Architecture to develop an event management tool and scheduler. Candidates will work collaboratively to enhance existing solutions and tackle complex technical challenges. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on Amazon's cost optimization and business initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and code reviews
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Help solve a variety of technical challenges and build highly scalable solutions for Amazon finance teams.
- Analyze Amazon finance events and propose ideas for solutions to complex problems.
- Design enterprise scaled systems and develop reliable distributed services.
- Work as part of a small, agile, and collaborative team of engineers.
- Tackle challenging and novel situations in a dynamic work environment.
