The Senior Software Development Engineer will lead the development of AI-driven solutions that enhance how partners like SAP operate on AWS. This role is part of the AI & Strategic Partner Engineering team, which focuses on creating deep integrations between AWS and strategic partners. The team is dedicated to pioneering AI-driven automation and building secure, scalable architectures for enterprise workloads. Candidates should be self-starters with a passion for innovation and collaboration.
Requirements
- 7+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
- Experience as a mentor or tech lead in an engineering team.
- Knowledge of Machine Learning and LLM fundamentals.
- Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and operational excellence.
- Experience in creating and deploying autonomous AI agents into production systems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Define the technical direction for the team and own architectural decisions.
- Design and deliver mission-critical integrations between partners and AWS-native services.
- Architect AI-augmented software development life cycle patterns.
- Rapidly prototype solutions using AI agents and validate them through load testing.
- Mentor junior engineers and partner with cross-functional teams.
- Document architectural decisions to empower future teams.
- Participate in product definition, architecture reviews, and code reviews.
