Job description

Amazon is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on developing innovative consumer products. Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
  • 5+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
  • 5+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle, including coding standards and code reviews
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Develop new features for embedded systems
  • Investigate, prototype, and deliver innovative system solutions
  • Design, develop, and verify firmware for embedded systems
  • Participate in design reviews, API development, and documentation
  • Work with new technologies vital to product development
  • Deliver investigation plans, architectural documents, design specs, and source code
  • Perform debugging, bring-up, and production software development
  • Collaborate successfully with both software and hardware product teams
