Job description

NVIDIA is seeking a Solutions Architect in Data Center Infrastructure to join the Infrastructure Specialists team, focusing on planning and deploying AI data centers. The role involves ensuring the integrity of NVIDIA's platform infrastructure through meticulous planning and validation. The architect will collaborate with various teams to implement data center solutions based on NVIDIA's reference architecture. This position requires strong technical knowledge and project leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in enterprise and/or hyperscale data centers with continual infrastructure deployment experience.
  • Working experience in data center operations or infrastructure management roles.
  • Strong technical knowledge in power distribution, liquid cooling, servers, networking, and storage.
  • Demonstrated technical and project leadership skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Organization and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with teams to plan and implement data center infrastructure solutions.
  • Manage deployment of NVIDIA's AI infrastructure solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Conduct pre-deployment planning and identify potential risks.
  • Evaluate infrastructure design proposals for consistency with industry standards.
  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of compute systems.
  • Provide mentorship and support to the NVIS team.
  • Establish and enforce quality assurance processes for deployments.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for data center infrastructure efficiency.
  • Collaborate and communicate with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
