As a Data Engineer at Amazon Web Services, you will play a crucial role in enabling data-driven decision making within the Data Center Infrastructure Operations organization. The team is responsible for planning, implementing, and continuously improving the global Amazon Data Center infrastructure. Your main focus will be on designing and maintaining ETL pipelines, optimizing data models, and ensuring data quality. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective data solutions.

• 1+ years of data engineering experience
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
• Experience with one or more query languages such as SQL, PL/SQL, or SparkSQL
• Experience with one or more scripting languages such as Python or KornShell
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, or Spark
• Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, ODI, or SSIS

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to ingest data into the data warehouse and data lake
• Create and optimize logical data models that drive physical design for the Infrastructure Operations organization
