Job description

AWS is seeking Senior Software Development Engineers to join the NetOS Fleet Health team, focusing on building and maintaining services for the world's largest Cloud Network. The role requires designing software solutions for monitoring systems that operate at scale with high reliability and security. As a technical leader, you will collaborate with network engineering and other AWS service teams. This position demands a commitment to quality and excellence in software development.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 8+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language
  • 8+ years of experience leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
  • Experience as a mentor or tech lead for an engineering team
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
  • 8+ years of experience in the full software development life cycle
  • Experience coordinating complex products with stringent technical requirements

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop software solutions for monitoring systems
  • Understand Amazon's network and service architecture deeply
