Job description

The Principal Architect IV for National Security at Google will play a crucial role in helping customers design and implement enterprise cloud strategies. This position is part of the Google Cloud Platform team, which focuses on transforming businesses through cloud technology. The architect will engage with technical stakeholders and executive leaders to present innovative solutions tailored to customer needs. This role requires deep expertise in cloud computing and the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience as an enterprise architect or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in cloud market insights and cloud computing across applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, or data.
  • Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with current polygraph.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify business opportunities while resolving technical blockers.
  • Share enterprise infrastructure modernization expertise to support customer relationships.
  • Demonstrate and prototype integrations of Google Cloud products in customer environments.
  • Guide customers through assessments of legacy application environments and provide modernization recommendations.
  • Recommend integration strategies and enterprise architectures for successful implementation on Google Cloud.
