Job description
The role is part of Microsoft's Silicon, Cloud Hardware, and Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) team, which is responsible for powering Microsoft's Intelligent Cloud mission. The team focuses on delivering core infrastructure and foundational technologies for various online businesses, including Azure, Office 365, and Xbox Live. They are seeking passionate engineers to enhance validation efficiency and ensure a trusted experience for customers. The position involves functional validation of PCIe IP and requires a strong technical background in engineering.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of experience, or a Master's Degree with 6+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform functional validation of PCIe IP at Block, Cluster, or Fullchip using UVM/C test bench and Verification IP.
- Develop test plans and write unit tests for functional validation.
- Create and manage regression suites, debug failures, and drive timely resolution.
- Innovate to improve validation efficiency through methodologies and tools.
