The Intermediate Electrical Engineer will be a key member of the Cities and Places team in Boise, Idaho, focusing on building electrical analysis and design for a variety of projects. This role involves producing technical reports, construction drawings, and specifications for electrical systems in commercial and institutional buildings. The engineer will work collaboratively with clients and multi-discipline teams to deliver innovative solutions. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineering Registration (P.E.)
- 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in infrastructure building-related design projects
- Ability to perform as a lead electrical engineer
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Solid working knowledge of the National Electrical Code
Responsibilities
- Perform building electrical analysis and design for various projects
- Produce technical reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications
- Design medium and low voltage power distribution and motor control systems
- Support high quality power distribution and lighting calculations
- Collaborate with clients, general contractors, and trade partners
- Utilize building BIM drafting software for design efforts
