Job description
Apple is seeking a proactive and highly motivated UI engineer to join the App Store team. This role focuses on building features that enhance the app discovery experience for customers. Engineers will collaborate with design, product, OS, and services teams to innovate and improve the App Store across all Apple platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user interface development and a passion for creating beautiful and robust applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Apple Frameworks
- In-depth development experience at the application and user interface level with Swift or Objective-C
- Strong object oriented programming and design skills
- Experience with UiKit, AppKit, and/or SwiftUI
- Experience with networking protocols
- Experience designing and maintaining APIs
- Experience with best in class user interface designs
- Experience with asynchronous programming
- Familiarity with JavaScript development technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, AJAX, and Node
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Eager to learn new skills and tackle new tasks
- A keen eye for detail
Responsibilities
