The Senior Tester at EY will work within the Service Delivery Center, focusing on quality assurance across the software development lifecycle. This role involves collaborating closely with the Application QA team to ensure that Java-based custom applications and workflows meet quality standards. The tester will utilize standard tools like JIRA to execute unit and QA testing, document defects, and support testing activities throughout development. The position requires strong analytical skills and effective communication to work with various teams.

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or application testing.
• Knowledge of software quality assurance principles, testing methodologies, and defect lifecycle management.
• Experience with testing APIs and UI workflows using tools like Postman and CURL.
• Familiarity with standard QA tools and processes, including JIRA.

• Execute unit testing and quality assurance testing for React UI and Java-based custom applications and workflows.
• Create, maintain, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test cycles based on business and technical requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and help validate resolution of defects through established defect management processes.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and project team members to clarify requirements and support issue resolution.
• Participate in testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle to help ensure quality, stability, and readiness for release.
