The Windows Platform Security Engineer will be responsible for designing and maintaining security controls across the enterprise Windows ecosystem. This role requires deep expertise in operating system hardening, endpoint protection, and identity governance. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to ensure a consistent security posture across hybrid environments. The main focus will be on securing modern workplace solutions and managing identity and access management controls.
Requirements
- At least eight-plus years of experience in Windows platform security or a related role.
- Proficient with security configuration management tools.
- Strong written and oral communication skills across varying levels of the organization.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows OS hardening for both workstations and servers.
- Experience with identity and access management solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security baselines and hardening standards across the Windows platform.
- Administer and optimize endpoint security tooling, including EDR/XDR and antivirus solutions.
- Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls, including authentication and authorization policies.
- Secure modern workplace solutions, including Windows Desktops and enterprise browser deployments.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation planning.
