Job description

The Sr. Systems I&T Engineer role at Amazon LEO focuses on designing, integrating, and testing innovative terrestrial communication applications. This position is part of the ALG Engineering organization, which aims to deliver scalable solutions for government and international customers. The engineer will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams and partners to ensure systems meet customer expectations. The role requires a strong technical background and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience using electrical test and measurement equipment.
  • 5+ years of software and firmware integration and test experience.
  • 4+ years of experience testing embedded complex systems developed in C, C++, Python, Docker, or Rust.
  • 5+ years working with test infrastructure or systems running on Linux platforms.
  • Experience in verbal and written communication for executive level leaders.
  • Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans.

Responsibilities

  • Provide System Integration and Test leadership for complete hardware and software feature testing.
  • Work with various functional engineering disciplines to derive test inputs and outputs.
  • Specify and develop end-to-end system or sub-system integration and test plans.
  • Analyze test data and engage with the engineering team to evaluate product performance.
  • Lead the architecture, design, and validation of test equipment software and hardware.
