Job description
The Customer Service Engineer (CSE) role at KLA involves providing customer service support for advanced KLA products, primarily focusing on troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing complex capital equipment. The CSE will work closely with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and operational quality. This position requires strong technical skills in electro-mechanical systems and excellent communication abilities to coordinate with various teams. The CSE will also assist in training and mentoring less experienced engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment in a cleanroom environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of software, electronics, optics, and mechanical systems
- Ability to work under pressure and meet stringent timelines
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service support for a variety of advanced KLA products.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Evaluate, analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot technical equipment problems at customer sites.
- Maintain and execute the Preventive Maintenance schedule on KLA tools.
- Repair and update equipment at customer sites based on technical knowledge.
- Prepare Field Service Reports and document customer support activities.
- Cross-train and assist other field service engineers as needed.
- Provide first level Applications support and guidance to Installation Engineers.
- Manage individual inventory accounts and assist in preparing customer quotes.
- Conduct customer orientation and technical training on equipment maintenance.
