Job description
The System Development Engineer (SysDE) role at Amazon Robotics focuses on designing and scaling enterprise integration platforms that connect various systems and applications. The team is responsible for building event-driven middleware that facilitates seamless data flow between internal and external systems, including PLM and ERP applications. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development or system administration experience.
- 1+ years of experience designing and developing large-scale, distributed software applications.
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with AWS services or other cloud offerings.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and scale the enterprise integration platform that orchestrates data flow between various systems.
- Develop and maintain event-driven connectors, API routes, and data transformation pipelines.
- Design and implement partner onboarding patterns to reduce integration timelines.
- Build and operate real-time and batch integration pipelines using AWS services.
- Troubleshoot complex integration failures spanning multiple system boundaries.
