Job description

This role is an opportunity to join the Apple Software Engineering Finance team as a Data Analyst focusing on Cloud Infrastructure. The team is responsible for optimizing infrastructure spending and executing efficient capacity models to support the Apple Engineering organization. The position involves collaborating with software engineering leaders and managing cloud infrastructure resources. The goal is to provide best-in-class business support through accurate financial forecasting and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience managing software programs
  • Strong background in managing cloud infrastructure resources, including CPUs and GPUs
  • Established experience in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis with a focus on cloud infrastructure
  • Outstanding attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and precision in analysis and reporting
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of collaboration across diverse teams
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Partner with software engineering leaders to build, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure tools.
  • Collaborate across software teams to understand capacity needs across the organization.
  • Create a data visualization program/dashboard for accurate financial forecasting within cloud capacity.
  • Drive internal budgeting and capacity approvals across key business stakeholders.
  • Establish quarterly reporting for business leadership, including SVPs.
