This position is for a Systems / DevOps Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Herndon, VA, focusing on providing innovative cloud computing solutions for the U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or A+ or CND or Network+ or Security+ certification.
- 1+ years of Linux systems administration experience.
- 1+ years of technical troubleshooting or support experience.
- 1+ years of networking experience.
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above.
- 1+ years of cloud computing technologies experience.
- 1+ years of support procedures and methodologies for production computing environments experience.
- Experience debugging, diagnosing, and troubleshooting complex, production software issues.
- Experience using data, reporting, or tools to measure performance and make adjustments accordingly.
Responsibilities
- Help U.S. Intelligence Community and Defense agencies implement innovative cloud computing solutions.
- Own and advance mission-critical services in Amazon Dedicated Clouds.
- Dive deep into technical issues to improve customer experience.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical managers to address specific customer needs.
