• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with CPU architecture and micro-architecture.
• Object-oriented programming experience with C and C++.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Javascript.
• Experience with CPU performance analysis and associated tools.
• MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of common performance benchmarks.
• Experience working multi-functionally with diverse teams.
• Demonstrated communication, influence, and negotiation skills.
• Technical documentation skills.
• Knowledge of visual/UI or data analysis frameworks and modern AI tools.
• Knowledge of OS internals and compiler technology.

• Act as the interface between the CPU team, system teams, and software teams at Apple.
• Guide optimizations and the direction of future CPUs based on data-driven analysis.
• Collaborate with software developers to optimize code for CPU designs and roadmap.
