• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• 3-7+ years of hands-on, consumer electronics product design experience
• Strong mechanical engineering analytical skills and experience selecting materials and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, with NX preferred
• Proficiency in GD&T techniques and creating 2D drawings
• Experience working with external manufacturing vendors
• Thorough knowledge of engineering materials and interpreting FEA results
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Creative problem solving skills with experience in failure analysis
• Detail oriented and capable of handling multiple assignments

• Take direct responsibility for the mechanical design of parts and assemblies within Apple Vision products.
• Engage in multi-disciplinary collaboration with teams such as Industrial Design and Project Management.
• Conduct analysis, assembly, and reliability assessments of mechanical components.
• Collaborate with vendors to bring designs to life through prototyping and testing.
