The Customer Engineer IV, AI Infrastructure role at Google Public Sector focuses on accelerating AI initiatives for government and educational institutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
  • 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
  • Experience with frameworks for deep learning such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX, and AI accelerators like TPUs and GPUs.
  • Must possess an Active Top Secret/SCI US Government Security Clearance with polygraph.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time as required.

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate customer time-to-value on AI Infrastructure and High Performance Computing workloads.
  • Build a trusted advisory relationship with customer architects and engineering leadership.
  • Identify customer priorities and design strategies focused on Google AI Infrastructure.
  • Provide domain expertise around hardware accelerators and prevailing ML frameworks.
  • Manage the holistic research engineering relationship with customers by collaborating with various teams.
