Job description
The Display Hardware team is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to contribute to the development of next-generation displays for Mac products. Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
- Experience in mixed-signal EE design at either IC or PCB level is necessary.
- Proficiency in simulation tools like SPICE or MATLAB for circuit/math analysis and modeling is required.
- Experience in power electronics, analog/digital circuits, or high-speed signal integrity is essential.
- Hands-on experience in hardware prototype bring-up, debugging, validation, and failure analysis is needed.
- Familiarity with full ECAD workflow for schematic capture, PCB layout, and BOM generation is required.
- Skills in scripting, factory data processing, or test automation, along with programming experience in Python, Shell script, or MATLAB are necessary.
- Experience in consumer electronics and high-volume production is preferred.
- Knowledge of modern display technologies such as LCD, TFT, OLED, and LED is important.
Responsibilities
- Develop factory test plans and manage manufacturer partners to conduct data collection.
- Analyze large-scale data collected from testing.
- Communicate and present technology updates and project status to executives and functional teams.
- Engage in hands-on hardware projects to bring ideas to life.
- Ensure proficiency in EE validation and characterization tasks using lab equipment and test automation.
