Job description
As a Customer Engineer II at Google Cloud, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth for customers by managing deployment plans and ensuring they maximize their investment in Google Cloud services. You will provide technical leadership and support to customers and partners, helping to clear blockers and facilitate the transition of workloads into production. This position requires a blend of sales expertise, technical engagement, and project management skills to demonstrate the value of Google Cloud solutions. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience in deployment planning, orchestration, or change management.
- Experience in programming languages, debugging, or systems design.
- Experience engaging with, presenting to, or influencing technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Develop and orchestrate a structured, end-to-end deployment plan across customer, professional services, and partner teams.
- Employ coding, debugging, or systems design to resolve technical blockers and accelerate deployment.
- Monitor and track progress of the initial and ongoing ramp of workloads.
- Identify expansion opportunities for new workloads within the account during project execution.
- Drive sustainable product usage to help customers realize value on an ongoing basis.
