Job description

The Mid-Level Electrical Engineer will be a key member of the Cities and Places team in Boise, Idaho, focusing on building electrical analysis and design for various projects. This role involves producing technical reports, construction drawings, and specifications for electrical systems in commercial and institutional buildings. The engineer will work collaboratively with clients and multi-discipline teams to deliver innovative solutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • Professional Engineering Registration (P.E.)
  • 5-15 years of relevant professional experience in infrastructure building-related design projects
  • Ability to perform as a lead electrical engineer
  • Experience working in a multi-discipline team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Solid working knowledge of the National Electrical Code

Responsibilities

  • Perform building electrical analysis and design for a wide range of projects.
  • Produce technical reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Design medium and low voltage power distribution and motor control systems.
  • Support high-quality power distribution and lighting calculations.
  • Plan and design electrical systems for buildings and facilities.
