• Manage a team of software engineers, including sub-managers.
• Provide technical guidance to the team as they design, develop, integrate and test features.
• Prioritize work and ensure that incremental progress is made even if the problems are difficult to solve.
• Help team members and partner teams understand the broader context and solve problems.
• Be comfortable with changes in the execution plan if they enable the right impact for Google.
