The Critical Environment Electrical Engineer at Microsoft plays a vital role in supporting the infrastructure for cloud services such as Azure, Office 365, and Xbox. This position is part of the Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team, which emphasizes professional development and environmental sustainability. The engineer will engage in design, testing, and project implementation while collaborating with other engineers to enhance product features. Requirements
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical engineering experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience OR equivalent experience.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop basic knowledge of industry trends and consult with other engineers to apply advanced concepts.
- Assist in the creation and execution of designs and verification plans for electrical engineering aspects.
- Write design verification test cases and develop test plans for standard features or products.
- Follow project implementation schedules and communicate project progress within the team.
- Document essential details about materials and components for device assembly.
