Job description
In this role, you will be part of Apple's Platform Architecture group, which focuses on integrating hardware, software, and servers into a unified system. You will work with a team dedicated to enhancing the security of Apple's advanced consumer devices. Your primary responsibility will be to define the architecture and manage distributed web services that enforce security policies for Apple products. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Experience with security practices such as secure boot and hardware roots of trust.
- Proficiency in common programming languages such as Python, Go, or C/C++.
- Knowledge of cryptographic principles and threat modeling methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Define the architecture for distributed web services that enforce security policies.
- Oversee the operation of security systems for the development and deployment of Apple products.
- Collaborate across multiple disciplines including software engineering, hardware, and infrastructure.
- Drive continuous security improvements for Apple products.
- Provide architectural guidance to teams lacking resident security expertise.
