The Hardware Engineering Program Manager (HW EPM) will lead a multi-functional team in the development of new products for iPad and input devices. This role requires a solid engineering background to effectively communicate cross-functional issues and risks. The HW EPM will manage the planning, design release, and delivery of flex boards and main logic PCBs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to demonstrate technical expertise and program management skills in a rapidly growing environment.
Requirements
- BS engineering degree is required.
- 2+ years of experience in hardware engineering or operations program management.
- Strong technical background in Electrical Engineering (EE) or Mechanical Engineering (ME).
- Experience with PCBA design, layout, or Design for Manufacturing (DFM) is a plus.
- Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Superior attention to detail with the ability to manage complex build matrices.
- Self-motivated and proactive with creative and critical thinking capabilities.
- Ability to support international travel for build events.
Responsibilities
- Manage the planning and execution of product prototype builds.
- Set and communicate clear objectives for the build schedule.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the program with Contract Manufacturer (CM) partners.
- Lead multi-functional engineering team meetings to discuss design and set timelines.
- Ensure timely completion of projects by facilitating feedback through the internal design review process.
- Maintain good communication and provide status updates to individual contributors and executive management.
