Job description

The role is for a Software Engineer focused on building Generative AI experiences using state-of-the-art NLP and machine learning technologies. The team is responsible for the research, development, and deployment of ML/NLP technologies that enhance Apple Intelligence. Collaboration across various engineering teams is essential, as the position involves productizing Generative AI features and working on NLP applications. The team values knowledge sharing and maintains a strong culture of multi-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Proven hands-on NLP experience in conjunction with Software Engineering.
  • Experience writing production software in Swift, C/C++, Obj-C, or Python.
  • Good machine learning fundamentals.
  • B.S, M.S. or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in using open-source ML toolkits, such as PyTorch.
  • Hands-on experience with building NLP/Generative AI applications.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
