• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• 3-7+ years of hands-on, consumer electronics product design experience
• Strong mechanical engineering analytical skills and experience selecting materials and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in 3D CAD, with NX preferred
• Proficiency in GD&T techniques and creating 2D drawings
• Experience working with external manufacturing vendors
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Creative problem-solving skills with experience in failure analysis
• Detail-oriented and capable of handling multiple assignments
• Master's degree in mechanical engineering or similar field is preferred

• Direct responsibility over the mechanical design of parts and assemblies within Apple Vision products
• Engage in multi-disciplinary collaboration with teams such as Industrial Design and Project Management
• Conduct analysis, assembly, and reliability assessments of mechanical parts
• Collaborate with vendors to bring designs to life
• Lead teams through the product development cycle from concept to production
• Perform tolerance analyses using statistical techniques
• Interpret FEA results and understand property tradeoffs of engineering materials
• Design wearable consumer electronics focusing on fit, comfort, and ergonomics
