The Experimentation team at Apple is seeking an experienced engineer to enhance the experimentation system across all Apple operating systems. This role focuses on building and extending the on-device daemon and framework that supports a culture of experimentation and AI adoption. The engineer will collaborate with various feature teams to improve customer experiences while ensuring high performance and efficiency. The position requires a strong technical leader who can drive design discussions and elevate team performance through code reviews.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or a related field with 7 years of work experience, or MS in Computer Science or a related field with 5 years of work experience.
- Industry experience in Objective-C, Swift, C/C++, Kotlin, or similar languages.
- Strong understanding of operating system fundamentals such as threading, synchronization primitives, inter-process communication, and scheduling.
- Proven ability to deliver production-grade operating systems software.
- Experience in iOS, macOS, or similar operating systems.
- Experience in experimentation or A/B testing and AI.
Responsibilities
- Build and extend the experimentation system for Apple across all operating systems.
- Develop the on-device daemon and framework central to the experimentation platform.
- Collaborate with feature teams to positively impact customer experiences.
