Amazon Security is seeking a Software Development Engineer to contribute to resource and application discovery initiatives. The role involves designing, building, and scaling front-end frameworks and back-end APIs for the Veritas service. The successful candidate will collaborate with diverse teams to drive product vision and technical implementation. • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience of new and existing systems
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

• Define product features and refine system architecture to influence product strategy
• Design and implement significant portions of critical-path code
• Collaborate on software design reviews with senior engineers
• Deliver high quality software that is secure, testable, and maintainable
• Analyze the overall health and performance of the system
