Job description

We are seeking a talented Controls Engineer to join our Manufacturing team for the Engine Business in Rocky Mount, NC. This role focuses on developing control systems and improving equipment performance while ensuring safety and security in operations. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively to enhance decision-making and project execution. Flexibility for off-shift work is required to maintain project continuity.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate effectively during 2nd and 3rd shift hours.
  • Foundational skills in designing and developing control systems.
  • Capacity to investigate issues and develop solution plans.
  • Willingness to assist with installation and troubleshooting of PLC-based hardware and software.
  • College degree in STEM or equivalent experience required.
  • Basic level of relevant experience required.
