Job description

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Stormwater Transportation Engineer to join their Tampa, FL drainage practice. The role involves working on a variety of roadway drainage and design-build projects across the southeast. The team is focused on delivering sustainable solutions while providing opportunities for professional growth. Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant FDOT drainage design experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET Accredited University.
  • Florida PE.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering design for roadway drainage and design-build projects.
  • Assist in all aspects of roadway drainage design including bridge hydraulic studies and culvert design.
  • Prepare construction plans, cost estimates, reports, and technical memos.
  • Lead marketing efforts for drainage and assist in proposal development.
  • Provide quality control reviews for drainage calculations and plans.
  • Utilize various design software to assist with design and preparation of construction plans.
  • Coordinate with project managers and other disciplines.
  • Direct and mentor junior engineers.
