Job description
The Staff Transportation Maintenance Engineer will join the Intelligent Mobility Services Team at Arcadis in Atlanta, GA. This role focuses on the development and design of infrastructure projects related to highway and interstate resurfacing and striping. The engineer will work closely with clients and may take on various roles in multi-disciplined projects, including technical design and project management support. The position emphasizes collaboration and communication to address the evolving demands of mobility projects.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in civil engineering or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar
- EIT certification with the ability to obtain PE within two to three years from date of hire is preferred
- Experience with infrastructure design and construction engineering
- Proficiency with CAD software, particularly AutoCAD, Microstation, InRoads, and CAiCE
- Familiarity with GDOT design standards and policies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and design of infrastructure projects for highway and interstate resurfacing and striping.
- Develop project scopes and budgets while interfacing with client needs.
- Maintain project schedules and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Contribute to meetings and assist with effective client presentations.
- Prepare written reports and meeting minutes.
- Work on multiple unique assignments simultaneously.
