The AV Engineer role at Bloomberg involves leveraging expertise in Audio Visual technologies to design, deploy, maintain, and enhance collaboration spaces and infrastructure for the global workforce. As part of the Employee Technology Support team, the engineer will oversee technical project delivery and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders. The position requires leading regional AV initiatives across the Americas while ensuring consistency in standards and user experience. The engineer will also contribute to the development of AV technology standards and best practices.

• 7+ years of AV experience in a commercial or corporate environment
• Design and implementation experience within conference rooms, meeting rooms, training rooms, and event spaces
• Experience leading global project planning, implementation, commissioning, and deployment of AV systems
• Advanced knowledge of video conferencing platforms and troubleshooting
• Deep understanding of Q-SYS system design, deployment, and administration
• Q-SYS Certification is required
• Proficiency in audio DSP, video processing, and control system platforms
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and current AVoIP technologies
• Foundational AV control system programming knowledge
• Experience managing project budgets and financial planning
• Experience coordinating with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams
• Ability to read and interpret AV infrastructure plans and architectural drawings
• Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
