The Full Stack Java Developer will be a key player in Citi's Cloud Technology Services team, focusing on implementing the architecture and engineering processes necessary for public cloud infrastructure. This role involves developing microservices and automating infrastructure provisioning to support a cloud-first strategy. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development and cloud systems, contributing to innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency. The position requires collaboration with application developers throughout the entire development lifecycle.

• 6+ years of strong hands-on Java development experience with Java 11+/Spring Boot 3.0+
• Experience implementing secure REST services/microservices
• Experience with CI/CD build pipelines and toolchain such as Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Maven
• Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes platforms
• Knowledge of middleware and distributed messaging systems such as Kafka
• Familiarity with databases including MongoDB and SQL
• Hands-on expertise in development and deployment of code over public clouds and container environments
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• Automate foundational infrastructure for public cloud including accounts, network, and compute resources
• Deliver tooling and capabilities to support the cloud-first strategy
• Provide developer-friendly cloud onboarding and account management for cloud providers
• Ensure compliance with regulations and policy through accurate requirements traceability
• Develop and enforce engineering best practices using modern SDLC that supports CI/CD and automation
• Advocate for new cloud-native solutions to address undefined system needs
• Drive client satisfaction by identifying process improvement and automation initiatives
• Communicate requirements and tasks from technology departments to stakeholders
